All Vendors:

  • Completed Online Festival Application (this is all Culture & Ed vendors need submit)


Food & Mākeke Vendors:

  • 2 Certificates of Insurance (General Liability 1M ea occurrence & 2M aggregate).
    •  #1 COI Naming Moanalua Gardens Foundation, 1414 Dillingham Blvd., Suite 211, Honolulu, HI, 96817 as additionally insured.
    • #2 COI Naming City and County of Honolulu, 650 S. King St., Honolulu, HI 96813 as additionally insured. 


Food Vendors Only:

  • Food Vendors ONLY (anyone preparing and/or serving food on site to sell) must provide:
    • Special Event Food Establishment Permit
    • State Dept. of Health Guidelines can be found here

Loading Zone: Vendors may unload from the curb on S. King Street, no permanent parking allowed. Please be considerate of other vendors that also need to unload. 

*NOTE: We will have overnight security from Friday 6 PM – Sunday 6 AM.

Note: Vehicles are NOT allowed on the grounds. Handtrucks and other moving aides are strongly recommended. If you choose to drop-off items on Friday, remember that before you leave, please store all of your equipment and materials in secure storage containers under your tables and place a cover over them. Although overnight security will be provided, neither MGF Hawaiʻi or the City & County are responsible for any missing or damaged items.

Saturday, July 19 & Sunday, July 20 Load In

6:00 AM - 7:30 AM Load-in Instructions


Complete Set-up - NO LATER THAN 8:30am


Loading Zone: There will be a loading zone set-up on the S. King Street Curb between the last metered stall and the crosswalk (see picture). Please DO NOT unload from the metered stalls, they are reserved for FOOD VENDORS ONLY.


Rules:

  • Read the Cityʻs Special Minor Event Conditions Form carefully.
  • Vendors must stay until the end of the event.
  • No stakes, spikes, pegs or other objects may be driven into the ground. We provide the tents, but if you have other things that may need to be held down, you must use water or sand bags/buckets or other alternatives.
  • You must bring your own tablecloths and they must cover the entire table and touch the ground on the side facing customers. They must be uniform in color/design.
  • Please plan to arrive early and have your set-up complete NO LATER THAN 8:30am
  • Vehicles are NOT allowed on the grounds. 
  • A hand truck is strongly recommended to off-load your items, supplies, and merchandise. 
  • Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to the loading areas. If needed, powered carts will be available to transport your materials to your booth on a first come, first served basis. 
  • All vehicles, except for approved food vendor vehicles, must be off the street and parked in the Kalanimoku Parking Lot by 8:30am. You must enter from Beretania Street, the Punchbowl entrance is closed. You must display your parking pass on the dashboard and write the Driverʻs name and cell number on the pass. DO NOT park in marked reserved stalls. Failure to comply with any parking rules, and your vehicle will be subject to towing. Parking passes will be emailed to vendors once all documents and fees are received by MGF Hawaiʻi.


Food Vendors:

  • You must have a working fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A-10B:C in your tent at all times.
  • You must have a metal tray under any cooking device to catch the oil and other drippings. Nothing may drip, fall or be dumped onto the grounds.
  • A minimum clear distance of 3 feet shall be maintained between the cooking appliances and the general public.
